my friend, amy harden, in her comment on my last post, couldn't have put it better.
i have not divulged details on of life on my blog in a long time. you really aren't missing much. it honestly isn't very interesting.
but since i have a moment...
i went to Indiana this week (wednesday and thursday) to visit family. it was great. it was just jaden and myself, but we had a great time. my parents live on a retired farm that has 3 cows. jaden kept asking to go see the farm...which meant the 3 cows outside. they are very tame, and he was able to hand feed them. pretty cool for him.
we then went to my aunt and uncle's retired pig farm down the street. there are no pigs there anymore, but he still farms the land, so he has big tractors. i think jaden liked the cows better, but the tractors are pretty cool too. uncle jim invited us to come back for harvest season and so jaden can ride along.
it was a fun trip for me too. it was a bit more "memory lane" than my other trips to IN.
there is something great about growing up as a farm girl in the sticks.
