there are many things in this world that give me great pleasure...but very few come close to the joy i feel when i see the old woman on the "tablemate" commercial struggle with the old, decreped tv tray. this tv tray must be horrible. not only does it not move from its spot 3 feet in front of the couch....it causes the old woman extreme back pain (she grabs her back and says "ouch") when she tries the move it closer. woa to the person who still has to use a standard tv tray.
the trip is coming to an end tomorrow. i'm ready. it has gone fast...and i'm thankful for that. but i miss my husband and jaden misses his dad. it was fun to tell jaden tonight that daddy and melissa were going to be home tomorrow. he kept throwing his hands up in the air and yelling, "Yea!"

My favorite infomercial is for that cylintrical pasta "cooker". I mean think about this ingenious technology for a sec:
you boil water. You add boiling water to the magical pasta tube cooker. You wait while the pasta cooks. You drain magic cooker..
Wow. I mean, cooking pasta has always proven extremely difficult for me. All the extra steps, like boiling water in the pot, and waiting for the pasta to cook, and then draining the pasta in the sink... it's all just so darn tough..
I will be forever grateful to that inventor, who no doubt, probably studied engineering at Harvard, for helping me FINALLY make pasta easily. My prayers have been answered...
