i laugh at my own jokes. there...i've said it. i admit this knowing that this action is the most uncool of all. but sometimes i just can't help myself. i think i laugh because i'm surprised at myself for making an amusing comment. or maybe i laugh because i think i'm a stinking riot. either way...not cool.
what is cool is to be sitting in a crowd, make a sly little statement laced with equal amounts of sarcasm, whit and intellect...and then smile ever so slightly...so as to let the others know that you know what you are doing, but are too cool to join in with the other's laughter.
i have a tendency to laugh harder than anyone else in the crowd when i make a humorous statement. and you know what is ironic? i can't stand it when other people do that.
such is life. i am what i hate.

Join the club. I feel like such a complete moron when I do that... yet I can't seem to stop myself. I've often heard that the things we dislike most in other people are the traits we hate about ourselves... and when they exhibit that behavior, it's like they're holding a mirror up to us, reminding us of those things about ourselves we'd rather forget...
You've got nothing on Mark Bowen and Steve Sommerlot.
Noel, both Mark and I ONLY are this way, because we are extremely insecure due to our hairlines. If I had hair like Suzanne's, then, that would be a different matter!
Laughing is healthy. It shouldn't really matter if others make you laugh or if you make yourself laugh... at least you are laughing! I wouldn't worry about it so much. None of us think any less of you because you occasionally make yourself happy! I love you anyway!
