curse you dr. seuss. your catchy rhymes run through my head all morning every morning while i'm getting ready for work. why do i care a about a zeller in the cellar or the woset in the closet. why do you harass me so? you're a doctor...aren't you supposed to help people, not slowly kill them with your ingenuity and creativity?

stink. now that i've written this, the rhymes have started again in my head. will there ever be relief?

do you know what's under your fingernails?

i know its gross, but i just couldn't help it today. i had to bite my nails. its an old habit that rears its ugliness on occasion. i don't know what's into me lately, i've been quite jittery. yesterday i dusted my ceiling fan. i didn't know what else to do. i had so much energy while jaden was taking a nap, so i looked up and thought, "my ceiling fan is dusty. i should dust it." but i first took an old cotton shirt of dan and cut it into rags, so i had something to dust with. i would have used my regular dust cloth, but it was in the wash because it was dirty from my compulsive dusting earlier.

i don't even know who i am anymore.

turds and other falling paraphanalia

i changed jaden's diaper today and when i went to wrap the diaper up, a turd fell on the floor. a big turd...i quess you could call it a poop. it didn't even bother me. i just grabbed a wet wipe and swept it up. my only concern was that jaden would get to it first. i never thought i would be so ambivilent towards feces.

today is my anniversary. five years. dan and i are celebrating with a couple of guiness. he is teaching this weekend so he is really busy. we agreed to celebrate later. i don't mind. we did go out for sushi last night. we took jaden had lots of fun. my child won't eat a cheeseburger, but he'll eat miso soup, egg cake and alaska roll (tempura style). i think jaden is in love with the waitress, because he kept waving, smiling, and yelling hi to her across the resturant. she was really cute and sweet, so we at least know he has good taste.

jaden will be 2 on may 8th. that isn't far away. i'm amazed by him. i of course think he is the smartest, most talented little boy ever. you want to argue with me about it? how many words did you learn today? my kid learned the word, "dibble" and "boom" today. beat that.
